Refund Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions to the FDIE platform offered by Magdox Private Limited (“Magdox,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). FDIE is sold exclusively to business customers (B2B); consumer distance-selling regulations do not apply to these contracts.
2. Starter Plan
The Starter plan is a one-time payment of $69 (USD), granting access for as long as your account remains active, with no recurring charge. This payment is non-refundable, except as described in Section 3.2 (Non-Refundable Fees; Exception) below.
3. All Plans: Non-Refundable Fees
3.1 Payment Terms
The Starter plan is billed once, at signup. Pro, Growth, and Enterprise plans are billed monthly or annually, in advance, as selected at signup. The full fee is due on the payment date and, for subscriptions, on each subsequent renewal date.
3.2 Non-Refundable Fees; Exception
All fees paid to Magdox - the Starter plan’s one-time payment and all Pro, Growth, and Enterprise subscription charges - are non-refundable, including but not limited to non-use of the platform, partial-period cancellation, or a mid-cycle downgrade. This applies regardless of billing frequency (one-time, monthly, or annual).
The sole exception: if Magdox is unable to deliver the Service you paid for and cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable time after you notify us at [email protected], Magdox may, at its option, refund the affected prepaid fees, prorated where applicable. This exception does not cover dissatisfaction with the Service, non-use, or a change of mind.
3.3 Cancellation
You may cancel a Pro, Growth, or Enterprise subscription at any time via your account settings or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period (monthly or annual, as applicable) - you retain full access to your plan’s features until then, after which your account is demoted to the Starter plan (subject to Section 2 above). The Starter plan’s one-time payment has no subscription or renewal to cancel.
4. Billing Frequency Details
4.1 Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are billed on the same calendar day each month. Fees already charged for the current billing period are non-refundable per Section 3.2.
4.2 Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are billed once per year, in advance. Fees already charged for the current billing period are non-refundable per Section 3.2.
5. Plan Upgrades (Mid-Cycle)
If you upgrade to a higher tier mid-cycle (for example, Pro → Growth), you will receive a prorated credit for the unused portion of your current billing period. This credit is applied automatically toward the cost of the new plan. The upgrade takes effect immediately upon payment of the difference.
6. Plan Downgrades
Downgrades (for example, Growth → Pro) take effect at the start of your next renewal period. No refund or credit is issued for any difference in plan pricing during the current billing period.
7. Enterprise Plans (On-Premise)
Enterprise subscriptions (on-premise deployments) are governed by individually negotiated Master Service Agreements (MSAs). Refund and cancellation terms are as specified in your MSA. In the absence of specific MSA terms, the non-refundable policy described in Section 3.2 applies.
8. SLA Credits
Growth and Enterprise customers are entitled to service credits as described in their applicable Service Level Agreement if Magdox fails to meet the uptime commitments specified therein. Credits are applied to future invoices and are not redeemable for cash refunds.
9. Disputed Charges
If you believe a charge on your account is incorrect, contact [email protected] before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. Magdox will investigate and resolve valid billing errors promptly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting Magdox may result in immediate suspension of platform access pending resolution.
10. Changes to This Policy
Magdox may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to the billing contact on record by email at least 14 days before the effective date. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
