Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember information about your visit, such as your preferences or whether you’re logged in, and can be used to understand how the site is used.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
Strictly necessary. Required for core site functionality - session management, security (CSRF protection), and authentication. These cannot be disabled.
Functional. Remember your preferences, including the choice you make in our cookie-consent banner itself, so we don’t ask again on every visit.
Analytics. We do not currently set analytics cookies on this site - the table in Section 3 lists every cookie actually in use today, and none are analytics cookies. If we introduce an analytics provider in the future, this section and the table below will be updated before any such cookie is set, and consent will be requested where required.
Marketing. FDIE does not currently use third-party advertising or retargeting cookies. If this changes, this section will be updated before any such cookies are set.
3. Cookies We Use
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
fdie_session | Maintains your logged-in session | Session | Strictly necessary |
fdie_csrf | Cross-site request forgery protection | Session | Strictly necessary |
fdie_cookie_consent | Stores your cookie preference choices | 12 months | Functional |
4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You can update your cookie preferences at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the site footer, which reopens the preference center. You can also control cookies at the browser level - most browsers let you block or delete cookies via their settings menu, though doing so may affect site functionality.
5. Third-Party Cookies & Embedded Content
Some pages embed third-party content that may set its own cookies. In particular, the Cal.com scheduling widget on our Demo page and the booking buttons used throughout the site load content from cal.com, which may set its own cookies under Cal.com’s privacy policy. Any future video or interactive embeds will be disclosed here as well.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. See also our Privacy Policy.
